Bombwe Village: A Story of Gratitude and Transformation
This year, I had a chance to visit Bombwe Village, my trip was supposed to be about bridges, but what I found was a community drowning in a different kind of struggle. The stark reality was impossible to ignore.
Picture this: brown, murky water, scooped from the ground beside cow dung. That’s someone’s daily life. In that moment, gratitude exploded in me. Where I stood, in my little world, was a dream someone else could only imagine.
A Wake-Up Call
It’s a wake-up call, isn’t it? A reminder to cherish the ground beneath our feet, the roof over our heads. Suffering exists, real and raw, right under our noses. And I, with my firebrand heart and a camera for a voice, knew I had to do something.
Diving into the Story
As a young water champion and filmmaker, I dove into Bombwe’s story. I talked, I listened, I captured their struggle in every frame. And alongside the incredible President of the Zambian Youth Water Parliament, we rallied for change.

Our Goal: Clean Water for All
Our goal? To sink boreholes, bring clean water to those parched for a better life. Every drop counts, a ripple in the desert that can turn into a tidal wave of hope.
