Understand that the time has changed, just like a normal minute or hour, but this time it’s a year. The truth is that a year is simply the sum of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months. Much like how we celebrate a new year. Let us learn to start celebrating and start making the most of our seconds, minutes, weeks, and months because they all add up to a year.

“New year, new me,” as the saying goes.

Don’t sit back and wait for the future to unfold. Those are illusionary hopes! Those are, once again, false hopes! Because the future is trapped inside of you, it is your duty to release it and create the future you want by using all of your potential and constantly striving for betterment. Time is a blessing from God that makes it possible for us to fulfill our destiny. To be honest, nothing will change unless you change what you do with your time. Because life is simply a reflection of what you invest in your time.

Desire to outperform yourself, to do something different than what you did last year. The more you maximize your potential, the better your results will be. Success, like failure, has a predictable pattern. You will definitely fail if you don’t study and show up to class, but you will pass if you do the opposite. The same is true in life; if you put in the effort and follow the right principles, you will definitely succeed in your endeavors. Desire to be better than you were yesterday. Because you have so much untapped potential.
