Peter Chushi Kasongo, an inspirational visionary and dedicated leader, is the driving force behind The Purpose Global. His journey began early as he found his voice in the debate club at the tender age of 11, subsequently assuming leadership roles in various school groups throughout his secondary education. At just 14, he was selected to represent his province at the Junior Challenge entrepreneurship and innovation competition held at the Mulungushi Conference in Lusaka. This pivotal moment marked his television debut and the inception of his lifelong commitment to purposeful endeavors.

Having completed his secondary education, Peter pursued higher learning at Solusi University in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, before transferring to Bugema University in Kampala, Uganda, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance.

 Peter’s path took a definitive turn after graduation, when he resolved to dedicate his life to his paramount objective: guiding individuals towards lives of purpose. This resolve culminated in the establishment of The Purpose Global. His message, initially shared through online platforms via quotes, articles, and videos, rapidly garnered a global audience, particularly resonating throughout Africa.

Influenced profoundly by the late Dr. Myles Munroe, Peter Chushi Kasongo is committed to carrying forward his legacy. During his undergraduate years in Southern Africa, Chushi founded and led an interdenominational Christian youth movement, spanning Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, demonstrating his leadership and passion at the age of 18. This remarkable initiative earned him recognition, leading to his nomination to represent his province and join the United Nations Youth Partnership Platform Zambia (UNYPPz).

While residing in East Africa, Peter ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing Perfect Pictures Media, which later expanded its footprint to Zambia and evolved into Perfect Pack Media Limited. As the Managing Director, Peter guided the company towards remarkable achievements. Under his guidance, the company birthed Perfect Philanthropic Media Impact, an organization dedicated to employing media as a catalyst for societal change (PP MEDIA IMPACT). His commitment to positive transformation extended to the creation of PP Media TV South Sudan, aimed at reshaping the nation’s narrative and countering its media portrayal of conflict. The company received recognition as the recipient of the Best Peace Film Award at the Juba Film Festival in South Sudan. Subsequently, he introduced PP Media World TV, an online platform dedicated to uplifting humanity through constructive and inspiring content, fostering education, motivation, and optimism.

Peter Chushi Kasongo’s impact transcends professional achievements. He is a certified Ministry Discipleship Trainer under Evangelism Explosion International and remains grounded in his faith journey, submitting to Apostle Fredrick Kaluluma within the City of the Lord Church. His spiritual foundation was laid in his early years through his family’s unwavering devotion to Christianity. Born in Kazungula and raised in Livingstone, Zambia, he hails from a family steeped in Christian values, with a prayerful mother, Mrs. Ireen Machishi Kasongo, and a visionary father, Mr. Chushi Kasongo, who serves as a respected leader and speaker. Even during his childhood, Chushi was recognized for his captivating performances as a dancer and singer.
